Dear Friends,<\/b><\/p>

We are living through difficult days, with the news bringing more and more pain and uncertainty. And yet, the greater the hardship around us, the stronger our understanding becomes of the role art can play at a time like this \u2013 to create a space for dialogue, to bring people together, and to offer healing for the soul.<\/b><\/p>

This understanding only strengthens our resolve. We continue to create, exhibit, educate, and keep the museum\u2019s doors open to all our friends.<\/b><\/p>

On September 5,<\/b> we will gather again to celebrate the opening of four new exhibitions: bold video art by Abeer Mreih<\/b>, solo exhibitions by Malak Manzour<\/b> and Noga Shavit<\/b>, and an extensive group exhibition exploring the tradition of Arabic calligraphy and its expressions in contemporary Arab art.<\/p>

Amid all this activity, the museum itself is also being transformed. The renovation is now at an advanced stage and is being carried out one floor at a time<\/b>, ensuring that throughout the process the museum remains alive and active \u2013 with changing exhibitions and a vibrant program of artistic, educational, and community activities.<\/p>

This process will culminate on January 23, 2027<\/b>, with the completion of the renovation, the opening of our winter exhibition season, and the official inauguration of the Umm el-Fahem Museum of Art.<\/b><\/p>

Until then, we keep going \u2013 especially now.<\/p>
